Outfit attire for the Paolo Sebastian Show

Adelaide Fashion Festival is an annual fashion event presented by Mercedes-Benz Adelaide showcasing local South Australian design and style. This year the event was held over a period of 5 days, Wednesday the 11th of October to Sunday the 15th of October. Throughout the festival, there were runways, markets, lunches and much more. The festival focusses to showcase local and up-coming designers of South Australia.

I was lucky enough to be attending 2 runway shows this year which was the Tiff Manuell Colour Immersion Runway and the Paolo Sebastian Runway. In between the two shows I caught up with a blogger friend and photographer, Shauna Voon (@jshnaaa) with Rachael Sia (@yourbaeray). I also attended Vogue Festival with a few of my insta pals, we all dressed up to celebrate. The Paolo Sebastian Exhibit was something else I went to check out, celebrating 10 years since the brand had launched.

The Tiff Manuell Colour Immersion Runway show was really an explosion of colour. You may know her for the paint splatter clutches which she specialises in. This was a runway which caught me by surprise as it amazed me with all the creativity. The vibrant colours are the literal representation of Tiff Manuell and her brand. The makeup was also stunning with editorialesque with the intense colour swept eyes.

Vogue Festival was a memorable one day with my gal pals as each individual went out of their comfort zones. The day was full of fun, although many of us were in pain from wearing heels. The Stag Hotel was the chosen location for a quick snack where we entertained many discussions.

The Paolo Sebastian Runway was a collection in collaboration with Disney. The dresses were exquisitely beautiful as always, Paul Vasileff never fails to impress with his unique skills in couture making. The Once Upon a Dream Collection featured a total of 30 pieces reflecting on a fairytale. The Runway was transformed into an enchanted forest just like any fairy tale which was read to us as a child before nightfall.

Until next year Adelaide Fashion Festival.

  1. Designer suits for women are available in styles including cotton salwar kameez. It maintains the balance of elegance and comfort. What is important is that it is easy to maintain and can be worn in any season.
